PERIGEE: Artificial Intelligence to end Human Suffering
At PERIGEE, our mission is to leverage big data and artificial intelligence (AI) to empower humanitarian and development organizations that work locally, regionally, or at the global scale. In the face of increasing global challenges, such as extreme weather events and conflict, we believe that novel data-driven analytics are vital to complement the gut feeling of experts. Everything we do is grounded in practical experiences, ranging from humanitarian missions in the Central African Republic to early warning projects in Southeast Asia or collaboration with local organizations focusing on conflict in Colombia.
PERIGEE is an international team of disaster risk management and fundraising experts, anthropologists, and developers around Markus Enenkel. Our advisory board includes professionals from the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, UNICEF, ACAPS, the European Space Agency, and the Austrian Fundraising Association. We are a trusted partner and enabler for humanitarian nonprofit- and international organizations, as well as governmental partners, providing them with cutting-edge technological solutions tailored to their unique needs. We equip our users with the data-driven tools and resources necessary to maximize their impact and reach in addressing critical social and environmental challenges.
